Goldständer Goes Global: Welcoming Andy & Stuart to Lead the Australian Branch
The Goldständer Mog Shop family is expanding! We are thrilled to officially welcome Andy and Stuart, who are taking the reins of our brand-new Australian branch and bringing Goldständer’s Unimog expertise Down Under.
From tackling the rugged Aussie terrain to joining us on the ground at the iconic Breslau Rally in Poland, these two bring a powerful mix of engineering precision, hands-on mechanical mastery, and off-road passion to the team.
Meet the Team Down Under
Andy: Engineer, Mechanic & Desert Racer
Andy is part engineer, part mechanic, and 100% problem solver. As a qualified Plant Mechanic holding an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, he brings a wealth of hands-on experience from the mining and construction sectors.
The Skillset: Hydraulics, custom fabrication, mechanical design, and turning complex engineering hurdles into practical, trail-ready solutions.
The Background: Raised on a farm, Andy has been tinkering with engines and building projects for as long as he can remember.
Off the Clock: When he’s not turning wrenches or designing gear, you’ll find him chasing dust as a desert racer on quad bikes or exploring the remote outdoors.
The Unimog Connection: A lifelong fan, Andy’s passion for Mogs started with stories from his dad—ultimately leading him to own and heavily modify his own Unimog since 2020.
Stuart: CAD Wizard, Fabricator & Bush Mechanic
Every world-class team needs that one person who can make the impossible fit, track down unobtainable parts, and solve high-stakes mechanical puzzles before anyone else notices there's a problem. For us, that’s Stuart.
The Skillset: CAD wizardry, 3D scanning, parts wrangling, high-end fabrication, and certified Aussie bush mechanics.
The Magic Touch: If a component needs measuring, custom designing, precision building, or just a bit of creative persuasion to work under extreme conditions, Stuart is the man for the job.
Expanding Our Reach: Premier Brands Down Under
Beyond their incredible engineering and mechanical capabilities, Andy and Stuart’s setup will serve as an official supply hub in the region.
They will be acting as official Australian stockists for RED Winches, Parlock, and the full range of premier brands that Goldständer represents. This means faster access, direct local support, and top-tier off-road, recovery, and Unimog gear for our customers across Australia.
